5 Astrology Blogs You Need to Follow
Posted on 30. Jun, 2009 by Shannon in Books and Resources
The intertubes are full of astrology sites and blogs and sun sign columns, so everyone has a collection of favorites. Here are a few of mine, in alphabetical order:
» Big Sky Astrology
Thoughtful, relevant, and easy to read. April Kent wrote The Star Guide to Weddings and has a lot of electional astrology info, but her blog has plenty of breadth.
» Elsa Elsa
Great posts, great comments, great fun. A fair amount of swearing, but there are warnings for those with more delicate sensibilities. Everyone who studies astrology should at least give this a look.
» Molly’s Astrology
Read this. Molly has an enormous back catalog of posts, and great things to say. I’m bummed that so many of her commenters are just people asking for consults when she has clear links for that, but what can you do…
» The Mountain Astrologer
This isn’t a regular blog, but a news feed and commentary from TMA is everything a blog should be.
» Sky Writer
Donna Cunningham’s blog. If you’re a Pluto person at all, this is your woman. Donna wrote Healing Pluto Problems, as well as a host of other books and articles.
And a bonus, because I just don’t know when to quit:
This is a great political astrology blog, and particularly relevant these days. Great for current events wonks like me.
Is there an astro-blog out there you just can’t live without? Post it in the comments!

What a nice surprise – thank you!
And I happen to think the swearing is one of the best parts of Elsa’s blog… but then, I’m not very dainty.

Hi Shannon~I just discovered your blog through Donna Cunningham’s and wanted to say I really think you’re doing good work! She also hosted me as a “guest blogger” about a month ago (article on Saturn Returns) as I have a new book out called “North Node Astrology” and she and I have been email friends for quite awhile now. I haven’t done much guest hosting or asking other bloggers to come and take a peak at what I’m doing, and seeing if there’s any way we can possibly help or host each other, but I really like your site and I thought I’d reach out in your direction (I also have many planets in Libra–but fueled by some Aries!) Anyway, take a peak at the blog and maybe we can do something too, or maybe just do a “blogroll” exchange. What do you think?
