Ok. I lied, and I’m sorry.
In my last book post, I said I had enough books to last me a month, and I wasn’t going to pick up anything new until I was finished with what I had. That didn’t work out so well; the siren song of my beloved Magus Books was too strong for me to resist. They have a great cross-section of technical astrology books there, so I feel that not coming home with every single book I wanted there is successful enough. I do get paid tomorrow though, so no promises about the weekend!
Here’s the latest haul:
- Casenotes of a Medical Astrologer
, by Margaret Millard, M.D.
- The Consulting Astrologer’s Guidebook
, by Donna Cunningham
- Astrological Counsel (Principles & Practices in Astrology Vol 10)
, by Noel Tyl
- Alive and Well with Uranus: Transits of Self Awakening
, by Bil Tierney
- Therapeutic Astrology: Using the Birth Chart in Psychotherapy and Spiritual Counseling
, by Greg Bogart
But I am getting caught up with my reading, so they’re not just rotting on the shelf. I’ll review the most pertinent ones soon!

Good haul, Donna Cunningham and Noel Tyl, 2 favorites there. The others sound extremely interesting. Medical astrology is fascinating.
That Noel Tyl book is from a series that looks really interesting as a whole… I’m going to try to track down more of the set.

I love the Donna Cunningham book you mention–always great humor and “realness” to accompany solid information. I’m a bookaholic myself, so I absolutely empathize. And now am inspired to do a little shopping. . . .
