Your story about your mom reminded me of my Gemini Ascendant husband. We decided to take Spanish classes together, and he was delighted to jump in with both feet and within a few weeks was chatting to our Mexico-born hairdresser in Spanish. I ended up studying it for three semesters and could eventually read the language almost fluidly, but was always too Leo-Sun proud to try speaking it and risk humiliation! With Sag rising I would love to travel the world, but I confess I"m intimidated at the thought of going places where I don't speak the language. Gemini ascendant, I have clear brown eyes, really clear, lol, you can look right into them and see your reflection quite clearly. Some people say I have keen insight and that I see them/know them better than others, they always say 'you KNOW' lol, I used to wonder what they meant. ^_^ Wow!
