Signs of Potential Goes Mobile!

Signs of Potential now has a shiny new mobile site!
I’m out of the house a lot, so I live and die by my mobile browser… and I know I’m not the only one. The new site is Android- and iPhone-friendly (sorry Crackberry users, RiM doesn’t play well with others) and will noticeably speed up your page loads, especially on slower network connections.
The address stays the same, too. Just head right to http://signsofpotential.com/ on your phone and it will detect the mobile site automatically. Read on for more info and screenshots:
Here is the home screen:
Click the arrow in the very top right-hand corner to get a drop-down menu with the pages (tap again to roll it back up):
Each post has a little arrow in the right corner- touch the arrow to see the first few lines, or touch the post to go straight to it (click the thumbnails below for more).
Commenting stays easy too- hit the little arrow to read comments, scroll down to add yours. Use the icons to email a post, share it, search for text, or change the text size:
From the home screen you can also browse by tag or category:
Comments still support Gravatars and CommentLuv; you can also email or share without a hassle. And if you want to view the full site, just flick the switch at the bottom of any page.
Known issues:
- For Android users, text adjusts to your screen (horizontal or vertical) but images in a post don’t resize properly. Just scroll to view until I get this fixed.
- The tag/category menus are sketchy for Android also. Working on it.
- iPhone users get off scot-free so far. I have a G1, so this is an issue for me
If you come across a bug or anything weird, please email me with a brief description and I’ll try to tweak it out.
Happy surfing!
