The effect of all that Capricorn depends on where it is in your chart, and how it's connected to your remaining planets.

Without seeing it myself, I would say all the Capricorn probably contributes to you being a better-prepared traveler than many people, more serious and confident about your adventures, and a role model of sorts for other people who wish they could do the same thing.

Taurus ruling the 9th can indicate a taste for luxury or sensory-oriented (leaf peeping, wine tasting, art tour, etc.) vacations. It can also correspond to well-worn traveling habits; routinely taking certain types of trips, or traveling to the same destinations multiple times. There is a comfort-zone aspect to it.

hi!
I also have Uranus in my 4th house, conjunct my 5th house cusp. I have also moved a lot.
I was born in CA, did not live there for more than 1 mo before I moved to Las Vegas. Three mo later I was in Spain, two years after in another part of California. Ever since then, I've moved back and forth from Portland, OR to Rio, BR.
I believe that Uranus' conjunction to my 5th house cusp made it possible for me to really enjoy all the moving. I'm always looking forward to next unexpected change of scenary. I even travel on any week that I'm free of commitments.
I once read that a 9th house in Taurus would mean that I stay "fixed" in one place. After reading your article, I understand why that's not true for me.
I also have 6 planets in Capricorn. Does that have anything to do with it?
Thanks!

I don't think it ever really lets up... I'll be down in South Florida for a bit starting this Thursday, actually.

This placement does confer some great experiences, especially if you have Sagittarius or 9th house planets as well.

I have a 4th House Uranus too. I got my first passport when I was less than a month old and have lived in several countries. I've managed to somewhat stay put in the South Florida area since 2000, but I have moved 4 in the past 10 years.

@daffodil It is exhausting, but thankfully you sound like you've embraced the chaos. I'll call you when I need advice on packing next time :D

@Sabina- The 4th house corresponds with Cancer (love of home and family), so it's no surprise that and your hubby are experiencing a lot of the same effects as this. It does indeed bring out the gypsy! Are many of your moves career-driven (10th house) by chance?

Hell-oh!
I don't 'get' astrology yet - as in technically - but I have Uranus conjunct Jupiter in Cancer (my 10th) and my husband has Uranus conjunct Venus in Cancer (his 10th) and between us we've probably moved, and been moved by our parents before that, about 200 times and we're in mid-late 50's age. And sure looks like it ain't goin' stop yet: I personally have had 5 addresses in the last 12month! If you or anyone can explain this, I'd love to know if we are just gypsies/nomads or wtf?

Totally agree! I have 6 planets in water, and my only air is Aquarius on the IC/4th house cusp. The longest I've lived anywhere since age 13 is 4 years! It's not like I ever intended to move this much, but my work opportunities haven't ever remained in the same geographical area. It's always been the one state, but lots of moving. It can be exhausting, but at least you start to develop a lot of difference experiences other people don't have. It's a unique perspective. Plus, I'm practically an expert at packing! :-)
