Elmo is an Aquarius

Not much of a shock, I suppose. But he’s a fun-loving yet methodical thinker, no?

Elmo’s birthday is February 3rd.

More Muppet zodiac signs:

  • Bert – Leo (July 26)

He doesn’t seem like a Leo, huh? I think he might be a Capricorn rising.

  • Big Bird – Pisces (March 20)

This is a cuspy day, so I hit the books because I like to look out for you guys. Sesame Street first aired in July of 1969, and Big Bird is officially a permanent six-year-old. March 20, 1963, was Pisces sun the whole time so no Aries here. He’s definitely Neptunian.

  • Cookie Monster – Scorpio (November 2)

Deep-seated urges are rather Plutonian; I feel for the guy. The “sometimes food” thing is getting some traction though.

  • Count von Count – Libra (October 9)
  • Ernie – Aquarius (January 28)
  • Herry Monster – Virgo (August 31)
  • Oscar – Gemini (June 1)

He argues for sport, likes anchovy milkshakes and bananas with gravy, and likes what he hates and hates what he likes. Also, he’s usually green but deep down he’s orange.

  • Prairie Dawn – Leo (August 3)

The girl sings, dances, plays the piano, and wants to be a famous journalist. All Leo, baby.

  • Snuffleupagus – Leo (August 19)
  • Telly Monster – Libra (September 29)

After my time, but here ya go:

  • Abby – Libra (October 21- I researched this one too)
  • Rosita – Sagittarius (December 7)
  • Zoe – Libra (September 30)

And last but not least:

  • Grover – Libra (October 14)

Grover and I share a birthday, which I discovered when I was four. Go us.

Hee hee hee! So fun! :-D

Oct 14 was my mother’s B-Day and is the midpoint between my Libra Sun & Moon. No surprise I have a number of Libra friends with birth dates from Oct 12 – 15!

Have a wonderful birthday and a happy, successful coming year. :P

Diane, you’ve got my brain running around decanates now… the many flavors of October. We should have a Libra blogathon.

      Thanks for the wishes!

This is really cool :-) Thank you.

I have to ask, what about Kermit? Kermit started Sesame Street.

    • Shannon Garcia October 14, 2010 at 10:23 pm #

Thanks Robin! I think mentally I grouped him with the Muppet Show crew, which would be a whole separate post.

This could become a series :)

That’s understandable. I would naturally group Kermit with the Muppet Show too,:-)but my husband knew something about Sesame Street and the Muppets, he’s kind of a fan of Jim Henson, and he asked me what Kermit’s sign was and told me that he was the part of Sesame Street in the beginning, but later moved to The Muppet Show. Sorry, to talk your ear off.

That would be fun to see if you did a series :-)

    Thank you again!

I have ears aplenty for the nuances of public tv, fear not! Yeah, Kermit got his own show after a few years on PBS, because Jim Henson didn’t want to get pigeonholed by kids’ tv.

The Muppet Show only gets better as I get older… one of the best things about them (and Sesame Street, for that matter) is that the funny operates on two different levels. It’s great if you’re a kid, but if you’re an adult it’s funny for entirely different reasons.

I think I will make this the occasional series. Thanks for the idea!

It’s true, I agree,:-) The Muppet Show has amusement values that are of two different worlds. I love it!lol! I think it takes real creativity to appeal to so many different age ranges and types of people.

    Thank you for the compliment.
Thank you for this, like I said before, this should be entertaining to read.:-)

Jim Henson is one of my idols. I think there is a lot more creativity going on in these sorts of shows that people give credit for.
