Moon Phases and Transits Grab Bag (audio)

This August I had some extended talks on KKNW with Donna Frindt about different facets of astrology. But the shows are looooong: an hour each, with lots of topics. So to made your life easier, I’ve annotated these two recordings so you can listen to the pieces you find most interesting and skip over the others.

There are tarot readings sprinkled throughout these calls, but here are the juicy pieces of our time:

Horoscopes, stress, and the new moon

Hour #1-pardon the rocky Badlands audio!

  • Getting an astrological reading, versus reading your horoscope: 5:05 – 8:15.
  • The Creative Initiation, and why you are so stressed right now! 19:15 – 22:30.
  • Leo new moon and dramatic new moon days: 22:30 – 23:00 and 43:10 – 44:15.
  • How to use the new moon phase: 34:15 – 37:50.

Healthy You! Radio – 12 August 2010

Merc Rx, the moon, and how transits work

Hour #2- just skip to the part you want:

  • The Mercury Retrograde discussion is from to 4:15 to 11:00.
  • The lunar cycle and full moon phase section is from 16:30 to 25:30.
  • We discuss moon signs from 30:00 to 32:45, and again from 37:10 to 40:20.
  • Learn about transits and planetary returns from 32:45 to 37:10.

Lovely site. I am enjoying noodling around :) I look forward to getting your moon newsletter.

Learning more about how the moon effects our moods and abilities is a fascination of mine, but I knew next to nothing about it!

    Thank you,

Hi Amy! The moon has a real effect on our rhythms, although it’s easy to forget nowadays.

I’m trying to make it easier for people to keep track of the moon timing, because life gets a lot smoother when we adjust to it. Thanks for the compliments :)
